No it's not March, but the Madness has arrived early for DODS. The Final 4 is here for Season 7... It's time to find out just who has it in them to make it to Anzio next week and claim Cal-Open's Championship.

#5 vs. #16
With both teams posting beat downs on their opponents last week on Lennon, this match up has really caught my eye. Though initially I would have to give the edge to d6, I can't quite count out PzG just yet. Salerno is a wonderfully designed map, some argue the best map in competitive play, so it should be interesting to see how these match ups turn out. Will Dev and Pooper be able to hold on to overpass against Panther and JM? Can Navarrete hold off Cheeno at four way? And how exactly will Waterboy or Piru get the upper hand on the other? I look for this to be a push and pull grudge match with some clutch breaks by Cheeno and crazy streaks by Waterboy. Overall I would say that this has the makings of MOTW, but rankings wouldn't suggest that. This will however, in all actuality, be an extremely close match for Open Semi-Finals. Both teams come into this match up with a lot of momentum, but only one team can advance... Who will be able to hold out longer? Tune in Wednesday to find out.

#3 vs. #7
After the debacle that occurred with Epitome and Syndicate for the quarter finals match up, it was safe to assume regardless of opponent that epitome would be moving on to this round, they rescheduled their match with Syn and have advanced to face DJS in the semi-finals. This basically has only one outcome unfortunately. Epitome is back and trying, which pretty much means that DJS is going to have to fight for their lives if they want to advance. I'm not saying they can't do it, but with Epitome producing like the days of old it would appear that Aim, RR, Viper, Fluffy, Chad, and Negative have some serious work ahead of them. I just in good confidence can't pick DJS to win this without a serious fight, so let’s hope it isn't a blow out. Prove me wrong DJS. Good Luck to both teams.

Epitome > DJS by 3+ caps

Huevo panzer!

Bueno para ser la primer experiencia en CAL de Panzer y de la casi totalidad de sus players en competencias, la pasamos de lujo y llegamos a una hermosa instancia de semifinales .... y realmente nos sirvio para terminar de ensamblar el team, aparecieron con el tiempo los players y las posicion que a comienzo de esta temporada empezamos a delinear, ahora para la temporada 8 tenemos team completo y ya nos podemos concentrar en nuestro juego y coordinacion al 100%.

Por esas cosas de la vida hicieron que los tres dias que coordinamos para juntarnos a practicar el mapa en scrims nunca pudimos estar completos .... siempre nos falto alguno de los que iban a ser parte del roster y las fallas de coordinacion ante estos pibes que fueron super coordinados se notan y por desgracia mucho, y por supuesto acostumbrados a jugar con nuestro TL in match la ausencia de Klonete tambien la sentimos.

Siempre tuve presente que Nava era un terrible player pero sabia que iba a estar mas ocupado con el Cheeno que con el resto de Panzer y creo que asi fue, se sacaron chispas ... lo que no me esperaba fue la calidad de Waterboy y Monster DIOOOOOOOOOOS!! que animalitos, nos hicieron transpirar la gota gorda en forma jodida, encima venian juntos los dos y se les sumaba Dev, el ala de construccion era un calvario aspero como talon de oso ...

Espero que los D6 dejen todo y produzcan el milagro xq en esta final q se viene si hay un team que me encantaria que la gane sin lugar a dudas es el de Nava, Water, Monster y Dev !!!
